why do people give each other shit about how they dress. like it’s their body, not yours. if they want to wear high-waisted shorts and a crop top, let them be. if they would rather wear jeans and long sleeves, let them be. stop being so damn judgmental and telling others what they can or can’t do because it literally does not affect you in any way, shape or form. if it makes them feel confident about themselves, they should be allowed to wear it with no shame. don’t tell people to “cover up” or “show more skin”. they’ll do what they want and your opinion is irrelevant. // stoppbullyiing

"comparing your beauty to someone else’s, and deciding your worth by the outside is draining the world from your potential to share how beautiful you are from the inside. don’t ever feel bad about your body because it is so unique. your hands remind me of leaves like your blue hair reminds me of the ocean. your freckles are like the Andromeda Galaxy and your eyes like the Helix Nebula. the bruise on your leg like a supernova or a sunset and your stretch marks or scars like Jupiter’s moon. your body is as beautiful as the world. don’t ever take it for granted."

"It’s inevitable that if you set two clocks side by side, over time, one of them is going to slow simply because the batteries are dying. Because life is happening. They will no longer be in sync, they’re individuals now. I guess that’s kind of what happened between us. When you were happy, I was happy. We were One. But maybe, because I often was depressed, you got tired of being sad for me. We were no longer in sync, just like the clocks. That’s okay because I don’t want you to feel the things I do. You don’t deserve it. Sometimes I just miss you. Sometimes I want to go back in time."

"Recently I’ve had so much hope for the future. God I can’t wait to travel the world and try new food and go on adventures. There is so many concerts I have yet to go to and art galleries to admire. Mornings to wake up with the Suns warmth pouring through the window and nights to lay out on a blanket in the grass and watch the stars, wondering what’s all out there in the universe. Getting the keys to your first apartment and knowing what it’s like to be completely independent. Going to the farmers market on a Sunday morning and parks to walk through as the seasons start to change. There are books to lose yourself in and dreams to pursue. The list is endless."

I just want to take a moment to give a shoutout to those out there who feel alone even when they’re in a crowd. To everyone who cries themselves to sleep at night. For all my boys and girls out there who feel ashamed of their bodies because of what society has taught them. For all the parents out there who to this day still struggle with mental illness. For anyone who feels that they are not as important as someone else. You are not alone. Believe me, you are understood. Also, you are a gem. Nobody out there can or ever will be like you so be yourself. You are worth every second, every penny, and every breath.
